A Note from Terri Evans
Hello
Ladies,
As of this past June, I
have resigned as the
Director of Women’s
Ministry. After seven
years, it is time to
step aside and allow for
someone else to lead.
I have loved being a
part of this ministry
and all the times we
have shared together.
Our Conference
Coordinator Kim Kees is
also stepping down at
this time to focus on
her husband, Scott and
their son Ryan.
Even though I will no
longer be the director,
I still love building
relationships with
women. I still want to
hear from you. I would
love for you to share
with me your stories of
how God is working in
your life. Nothing
thrills my soul more
than seeing women take
their walk with the Lord
to the next level.
Terri Evans
Donna McKean named as
New Director of Women's
Ministry

Thank you for your
interest in the Rock
Creek Women's Ministry.
I am excited about the
journey ahead and would
love for you to travel
along with us.
The Women's Ministry
team is in the process
of planning exciting new
events and opportunities
for service and Bible
Study. We are all very
enthusiastic about the
wonderful things God has
planned for us!
It is our desire that
through your
participation and
spiritual growth you
will be inspired, your
relationships
strengthened, and your
life enriched.
Out of all of the people
God could have called to
lead this ministry, I am
certainly not the most
qualified. However,
God's promise in Psalm
32:8 reminds me "I will
instruct you and teach
you in the way you
should go; I will
counsel you and watch
over you." I intend to
hold on to that promise
with all that I am!
Visit this website for
updates and information
as we gear up for an
exciting fall season.
I look forward to
meeting each of you!
God has great things in
store for us. I can't
wait to follow His
leading as we walk
together to encourage
each other, minister to
our community, and serve
our Heavenly Father!
In Christ,
Donna McKean

RCWM MISSION
STATEMENT
Rock Creek Women's Ministry believes that all women have
value in God's eyes. We want to provide a spiritual pathway
for growth and development by creating an environment where
women can find love, acceptance, and encouragement.
We will honor
God by enriching the lives of others as they reach beyond
themselves to a community and a world that needs to know
Jesus Christ.
"Many women
do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is
deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the
Lord is to be praised."
Proverbs 31:29-30 |

After the Boxes are Unpacked
By Susan Miller / 12 week study /
Book cost: $14
More than 40 million Americans
move each year, and studies show it
can be one of the heaviest strains
on a marriage. For women especially,
relocating can be a traumatic event.
For those who have recently moved to
Little Rock or will be moving to a
new place in the near future, you
will find this valuable book as
important as packing tape. Like a
steel dolly easing a heavy load of
boxes, Susan Miller's empathetic and
practical advice reminds women
they're not alone. With true
stories, ingenious insights, and
helpful hints, this great book makes
transitioning smoother so women can
get on with their lives After the
Boxes are Unpacked.
Living Beyond Yourself... Exploring
the Fruit of the Spirit
By Beth Moore / 11 week study / Book
cost: $16
You can know the freedom of a
life filled with the fruit of the
Spirit. In Living Beyond Yourself
noted Bible teacher and author Beth
Moore leads an in-depth study of the
fruit of the Spirit - living proof
that the Spirit of God wells in us.
Through this study you'll come to
appreciate the supernatural aspects
of the fruit and that you cannot
grow, learn, or produce the fruit on
your own. Beth challenges you to
develop the fruit by maintaining an
intimate relationship with the
Spirit of God. As you walk with God,
He develops in you the fruit of the
Spirit. A Spirit-filled life truly
results in living beyond yourself.
